These feminized autoflower seeds were created by crossing Auto Bubble Gum with Auto Critical Orange Punch to produce a bad-ass autoflower that was named Auto Candy Bubatz XL.
The cannabis cup-winning Critical Orange Punch genetics are very strong with powerful growth vigor and famous potency. The cross with Auto Bubble Gum makes for a wonderfully sweet smell and taste. Think sweet melon with hints of strawberry and bubblegum.
As a tribute to the German cannabis community and to celebrate the legalization of German home growing, Dutch Passion has developed this exclusive autoflower strain especially (but not exclusively) for Germany.
Auto Candy Bubatz XL autoflower seeds are especially popular with German growers due to the consistently high-quality results of bumper yields of strong, tasty weed - whether grown indoors or outdoors.
Auto Candy Bubatz XL is a fast-growing cannabis strain. Because she is a tough autoflower she can handle a variety of conditions relatively well and can be successfully grown in almost any type of medium (and type) of indoor grow. She does well in small pots, medium pots and in large Smart Pots/Root Pouches/Air-Pots. The latter options are recommended if you want to grow Auto Candy Bubatz XL outdoors. This ensures better ventilation and a healthier root system.
It is advisable to offer her some overhead cover (e.g. tarpaulin), if required, during outdoor cultivation because she doesn’t like heavy rain on her large full blooms. An overhead cover reduces the chance of mold and bud rot. Auto Candy Bubatz XL can be sensitive to mold in damp conditions and can be slightly sensitive to unfavorable outdoor growing conditions. On the other hand, she does well in warm sunny conditions.
Auto Candy Bubatz XL is a hybrid autoflower seed variety that grows and flowers almost like a 50/50 Indica/Sativa. With maybe a little more Indica genetic expression than Sativa, but not by much. This is a cultivar that usually combines a very sweet and fruity aroma and taste with more sour, gassy notes.
This strain thrives best in an indoor grow or in a greenhouse/outdoor grow during the warmest summer months. In warmer, Mediterranean-style climates she does very well and can also be cultivated in multiple successive outdoor growth cycles.
In the more moderate, colder outdoor northern hemisphere growing in June/July and August is recommended. In the southern hemisphere December, January & February are recommended. Outdoor growers may wish to germinate their Auto Candy Bubatz XL seeds indoors before they are due to go outdoors, growing them under 18-24 hours of daily indoor (LED) light. Once the outdoor conditions are suitable, put her outside in a large container.
Her plant structure can best be described as medium to large. The internode distance is average, and the leaves are of a hybrid structure in which both the Indica and Sativa characteristics are clearly visible. The average internode distance ensures large blooms that can carry some weight. The genetics used for Auto Candy Bubatz XL guarantee the following properties:

In an average of 10-12 weeks, Auto Candy Bubatz XL grows into a beautiful autoflower that is somewhere between medium and large in stature. The classic Dutch Passion auto structure ensures that she can be grown in all cultivation systems and with all growing techniques.
This means, for example, both with the SCROG method and with the SOG method. For a SOG cultivation, growing in smaller pots is recommended, otherwise lateral growth can become too wide.
Due to her hybrid plant and bloom structure, this autoflower is also suitable for natural cultivation (without cannabis training techniques such as HST or LST). Partly due to her good branching and slightly more open plant structure, Auto Candy Bubatz XL lends herself well to natural growth. This open structure ensures that the light penetrates well and that all the blooms (including the lower ones) can become hard and compact.
If, for example, you want to grow her in the garden or on a balcony and you don't want the plant to grow too big, you can top/fim her and possibly break/bend her (super cropping). In an outdoor grow, seed to harvest time can be delayed by about 1-2 weeks compared to an indoor grow cycle.
When growing this feminized autoflower seed variety indoors, you can expect very high yields of up to 25 oz per 10 sq. ft. in just 10-11 weeks. Auto Candy Bubatz XL is therefore a fairly fast autoflower with XXL yields. Her XXL marking indicates that really big harvests can be achieved. The sturdy large flowers carry a lot of weight. Yields of 9-18 oz per plant for plants grown in large pots are therefore certainly possible.
Outdoors, she takes a few weeks longer to fully mature and is generally a fantastic yielder as well. She can sometimes grow taller than 5 feet outdoors, which is quite unusual for autoflower genetics. Large outdoor yields of a few hundred grams per plant are possible when grown in good conditions. We challenge any grower to beat a 2.2-pound harvest from three plants!
